Type (Font) Design and its purposes
Most people are familiar with typefaces through the fonts they use on their personal and work computers every day. The choice of font or type, was not always as easy as it is today, since they were all hand created at some point in time. Popular typefaces, such as Times New Roman, Arial, and Helvetica revolutionised their time, and continue to do so till today. The creation of these letters, numbers and special characters require great science, skill and passion. The ability to be universal, flow within any content, and be everywhere without being "seen" makes type design a great art. Listed above are the current fonts that Sheetz Design has created. They are just a start, as you can expect many more unique typefaces to be revealed in the future.

To answer the question concisely; a Typeface is a closely related group of fonts, and a Font is just one single set of characters and numbers.
